This course introduces shooters to the current scientific methodology behind successful fundamentals and sets a strong foundation for all advanced training.  Intro to the Combat Carbine is a one-day course with dry firing, and live fire drills.  Proper weapon manipulation and SAFETY will continually be stressed during training.  In this course the following CORE skills will be taught:

-  SAFETY

-  Zero carbine with red dot and iron sights

-  Loading & Making Ready / Clearing &  showing    safe

-  Presentation of the Carbine

-  Grip/stance/trigger manipulation

-  Class 1-2 malfunctions

-  Speed Reloads   

-  Understanding Range etiquette/Standard operating procedures/rules

-  Maintenance/Cleaning

-  Types and breakdown of Carbine / Direct Impingement vs. Gas Piston

-  Shooting assessment

- Ready Up Drills

As with all courses at Impact Shooting Center, we strive to promote a friendly and professional environment that puts the shooter at ease. This course includes lectures, demonstrations, and practical application drills.
